Cannibal Corpse - Review

The band Cannibal Corpse was founded in 1988, Their themes speak about: Torture, Pain, Killing, Death, Zombies and Gore.
The band literally shook the world metal scene with their first album achievement named "Eaten Back to Life", recorded in a legendary "Morrisound Studio".

The album totally changed the limits of the Metal music, and acomplished the most extreme sound at the time.
Even with strong efforts of American government to stop this band from uprising and ultimately to forbid the band's existence, the band still succeeds, receiving media circulation in an amount of milions.
They also managed even to get into a movie "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" filmed in 1994, that brought them even more fans. In the movie ,the band performed song "Hammer Smashed Face" live on the scene.
The band comes from Buffalo, New York but now they are from Tampa, Florida.
They were mostly inspired by Thrash Metal bands such as: Slayer, Kreator, Sodom ,and early Death Metal bands : Morbid Angel and Death.
The song lyrics were mostly written by "Vincent Locke", but in the beginning it was "Chris Barnes" who have basically raised the fundaments of the band's lyrical themes, because he made an immense effort in the first four albums that showed their musical and lyrical style unlike any other.
Chris was very sorry ,because he had to leave the band, due to his voice starting to deteriorate, and started to weaken more and more. Eventually he left the for the band's well-being.
Even upon leaving, Chris still kept good relation with "Alex Webster" one of the band's members.
After "Chris Barnes" left band, in his position comes George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher, which vocals are much stronger.
Cannibal Corpse, were highly prohibited to appear live in many countries like : Austria, Serbia (Yugoslavia at the time), Croatia and more.
In Germany , the first three albums were banned, and the band was forbidden to play them live.
They were also under the escort of the police.
Eventually the prohibition was abolished in June 2006.
The original logo of Cannibal Corpse was drawn by "Chris Barnes" ,but after his departure the logo was changed. "Alex Webster" came up with the band's name.
Today, after 20 years, Cannibal Corpse has become one of the most influential metal bands with eleven full-length studio albums, couple of Ep and Single Albums in between, and a few Live albums.
With strong censures in many Europian countries, the band has collected an astonishing massive ammount of fans.

Bob Rusay - Guitar, he played from 1988 to 1993
Jack Owen - Guitar, he played from 1988 to 2004 ( Jack Owen is also one of the former member of this band ).
Jeremy Turner he play Session Live from 2004 to 2005 ( he play live when Jack Owen leave the band ).
