Kampfar - Heimgang 2008 - Review

Kampfar become finally to the stable situation with Line - up in this album, and they make good album "Heimgang" with good guitar riffs, but they didn't make progress in the success, its still that old "Kampfar" they should to make something new.

"Kvass" album was made in perfect "Viking"
style, while listening first song "Lyktemen" you feel like you drove the "Vikings" go to attack, song have simple guitar riffs followed by excelent played bass and drums which bring the sense of marching, i have to mention that this song contains clean vocals, which sounded great! Other song "Till siste mann" are quite good, but contain a bit sad. Kampfar - Fra underverdenen 1999 - Review

Fra underverdenen, the third "Kampfar" album is faster than other releases, are noticeably faster, guitar riffs remain in their style, vocal is on some moments doubled with diferent screams and clean vocals.

On 2 song "I Ondskapens Kunst" in beginning there are very good acoustic riff.

"Norse" song is released again in this album.

Fra underverdenen means on norway "From the underground".

This album is released by "Hammerheart Records" in June 16th 1999, and is re-released by "Napalm Records" in May 5th 2006 together with "Norse" as a bonus tracks.

Is "EP" with 2 songs "Norse" and "Troll" and 1 outro "Taering". This 2 songs have very good guitars riffs based on break down chords and power chords, but very interesting combination with bass guitar and accustic riffs on outro "Taering".

studios in September and October 1996 and ensure the safety of the band, because they had problems with line-up and finance.This album have very unusual guitar riffs, and reminiscent of the old customs, its nice to hear this sound.
