"Pagan Black Metal" but if you ask me, I would have ranked as a "Viking Black Metal", lyric from this band says about Viking mythology, frost and north.
This band started with name "Mock" in 1992, and they released demo "Cold Winter" split with Tumulus "Hymns and Dirges / Cold Winter" one EP "Vinterlandet" and one compilation "Mock".
But after few months after they released compilation "Mock" they are returned into "Kampfar". they never changed their line-up. Members of Kampfar: Dolk - Vocals( but in the beginning he "magnifier" drums), Thomas - Guitar ( he played bass in the beginning ), II13 - Drums, Vocals, Jon Bakker - Bass, "Kampfar" have one member on live shows "Waltr Verschoor - Guitar".
