A Forest of Stars - 2010 - Opportunistic Thieves of Spring - Review

Monday, June 14, 2010

Second A Forest of Stars album is great masterpiece of this band, it's more Psychedelic and texts sympathetic on sorrw, wisdom and nature.
Only with the first song I was delighted when i heard, especially with other, bright melancholic screams and a great pounding on the drums, and crossing are something which making me "chill".

I was delighted when i hear thunder of drums on song "Chapter Four: Thunder's Cannonade" is an incredible feeling hear thunder improvised by drums!
Violin is something what gives special flavor of wisdom and touch of the cosmic force to all this together with bass.
Woodwind is what gives a feeling of nature, because they are playing in a natural way on "breath and inhalation" that reflect one side of nature, and that may you feel most on song "Chapter Two: Raven's Eye View".
Most progress i like on this album because of the constant Impact keyboard, which maintained force from Forest to Stars!
Female vocals give tenderness and peace to the songs, with that bewitching gap of Forest.
The album has been described as "an unearthly journey from the rise of mankind
to the Golden Age to its decline in the Kali Yuga."
Album is released by "Transcendental Creations" in 1st June 2010.
