I - 2006 - Between Two Worlds - Review

Wednesday, June 30, 2010

This album and project opens new frontiers in Black Metal, but i can't say that this is pure black metal, however this is project leaded of Olve "Abbath Doom Occulta" Eikemo.
Even is this not pure black metal worth a listen, album contains great guitar riffs which that maybe a little reminiscent of "Bathory" and almost on all songs you can hear guitar solos.

Drums do not have a particular speed, i want to say that Ace is not used in the right person, bass is played fantastic, played by the master Tom Cato "King ov Hell" Visnes.
Best work is done on texts, all songs have their great story mainly about the war.
Album is released by "Nuclear Blast Records" in 3rd November 2006, and is limited to 1000 copies, but there is three releases by "Nuclear Blast Records" and is special edition with silver "I" on cd cover with three bonus track:

Also available as a limited edition metalbox. Constructed by metal plates,
weighing nearly 2 kilos in total, and with the "I" laser-cut in the first plate.
